Two numbers sit behind every choice: thirteen cards in hand, and at least one pure sequence before a show. Everything else is either a legal decision or leftover chance.
A discard is evidence you chose to publish. The next stock card is not. Strategy on this desk is an evidence hierarchy, not a win recipe.
If a writer tells you a specific holding is the best hand, that writer is inventing a result. This desk will not.

Pure-sequence priority is a rule, not a slogan
If the only run you hold uses a joker, you do not yet have a show. Spending a turn decorating sets while the pure run is missing is a skill error. It is still not proof you will lose. Chance can deal the missing rank. Chance can also refuse it.
State of Andhra Pradesh v. K. Satyanarayana (1968) used the predominance of skill. The 2025 Act does not repeat that test as a product endorsement.

The discard pile is public. Your thirteen are private. The stock height is public as a pile, not as known ranks. The opponent closed hand is unknown. Any article that treats the unknown layer as readable is writing fiction.
Skill lives in the first two layers. You choose whether to publish a discard. You choose whether the open card is worth the information you give away by taking it. You choose whether a first drop is cheaper than staying in a hand that cannot make a pure run.
Chance lives in the last two layers. The next stock card is not a decision. The printed joker arriving or not arriving is not a decision. A closed opponent sequence you cannot see is not a decision. Calling those layers skill is how win recipes get invented.
Satyanarayana in 1968 treated rummy as skill because the predominance of decisions can outweigh chance. Predominance is not absence. The 2025 Act does not convert that sentence into a jackpot247 edge. This poster will not either.
